对于“吾丧我”，有两种解释：

（1）SR（single-reference），认为吾与我指的是同一个东西。

（2）DR（double-reference），认为吾指的是私我。我指的是社会我。

作者结合Anscombe的研究，提出第三个解释：

（3）NR（non-reference），吾丧我，意即，I has not renferent. 我没有所指。即，there is no ONE. 【类似洋葱，这个“我”的指称是空白的】
